High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) Spray System process uses combustion of Kerosene and liquid Oxygen mixture to melt and half-melt powder particles feeded into HVOF-torch and propel them under ultra-sonic speed to the part’s surface. Nitrogen is used as a carrier gas for powder supply.
Characteristic :
1.Kerosene fuel is combustion while oxygen is accelerant for the hvof spray equipment. It is a relatively safe combustion mode.
2. The spraying gun is designed according to rocket principle. The pressure in combustion
chamber can get up to 150PSI, The speed of flame is more than 2000m/s. The output power is huge and can be adjusted.
3.Radial powder feeding. This new method of injecting the powder can be preferably solubilized and uniformly distributed throughout the flame, improving the coverage efficiency and quality of the coating;
4.The system is designed to control temperature range in a certain interval of the positioning and increase the speed increased as the primary optimization target function; The coating is not only combination of high strength, high coating density, and the surface stress is a compressive stress proved by X-ray diffraction apparatus;
5.Modular design, high-performance PLC control, Safe and simple operation
6.Particles speed is 1100 m/s by combustion (3300-3300 per feet per second). It is significantly faster than other HVOF system.
7.The thickness of coating layer is more than 1/2 inch (compressive stress coating).The hardness is higher than any other HVOF system (HVOF- 8000 type spraying WC - Co coating microscopic hardness is up to 1450, and WC - Co coating micro hardness by gas of HVOF is only around 900 ~ 1100)

Powder feeder
Powder feeder for SX9000 HVOF spray equipment is a device that used to store spray
powder according to process requirements to deliver powder to the gun. Nitrogen is the powder feeding gas. Spraying powder through a gas atomization vibration so that the powder feeding device to exit, along with to send powder gas left to send powder barrels into the spray gun.
Use PLC and touch screen to set parameters to accurately control the accuracy of powder feed
and powder delivery speed. The system contains two sets of independent powder feed devices, the big cans capacity is 3 liters, routinely gaunting for scraper type, with a speed of 150 grams/minute. Small cans use rotary drums, capacity is 1 liter, suitable for sending various ultra -fine powder and difficulty mixed powder.
Using a full -closed plastic steel case, it is not disturbed by the environmental temperature, humidity and other environmental interference, the panel is transparent glass door, and the powder feed state is clear at a glance.
